<p>I graduated from high school in '04 and have been been employed with a full-time job and a second part-time job for the past 2+ years. I am beginning at a California community college in spring 2007 and am projecting to submit applications as a transfer applicant for the fall 2010 semester.</p>
<p>I have no taken the SAT I or SAT II tests as of yet. As far as achieving a 4.0 GPA, I feel that this is something that I can control through hard-work and dedication. However, the only aspect of my application that has me a bit concerned is SAT test grades.</p>
<p>If I take the SAT I and SAT II before submitting my application, how heavily will Stanford take these into consideration in my application? I would say that I'm a non-tradition applicant and the purpose of the SAT tests are said to determine how well you will be in college. </p>
<p>Am I going to be fighting for a chance at even being considered if I submit my application with scores in the 600 range? I am aware that Stanford requires all transfer applicants to submit these scores however I don't quite understand how a score could be the determining factor in whether or not I am accepted as a transfer applicant after showing that I have held a full-time job and a part-time job, both to assist in supporting my mother and younger brother, then earning a 4.0 in honors level college coursework.</p>
<p>I guess I just want to see what you wise people thought on this matter.</p>
