How helpful are those sat 2400 books?

like the title says, how helpful are they; and if anyone has used them please rate the best ones to buy. thx ;)

after i read barrons 2400, my scores jumped from 2100 to 2200 during practice and i ultimately got a 2350 on my real test.

having said that… its totally not worth buying. i took the book off the shelf, read their ‘strategy’ on CR within 30 minutes, and put it back on the shelf. it had a really interesting approach for CR and it worked for me. however, i suspect it wont work for everyone. everything else (Math and Writing) is worthless though.

I agree with the above. I too pulled Barron’s 2400 off the shelf and looked through the CR section. I tried their approach to the long passages and went from low 700s to high 700s on my next practice test, and my scores never went back down. Other than that, though, I don’t think it has much to offer.

thanks for ur replies, i too will most likely pull them off the shelf and browse for info.
