Just wonder how hot it gets in dorm rooms at Douglas Residential Halls (Bunting-Cobbs etc.). At my son's college, it was so hot kids had to wear T-shirts and shorts in winter in their rooms.

Start packing list for my daughter! :) Thanks.

I lived on college avenue dorms for two years. It gets hot but a window fan seems to help enough to make it bearable.

Ah! I live in Bunting-cobb and will be living there next semester as well! Great choice on picking BC because with our new renovations, our dorm is super nice. It gets relatively hot in the summer, but with open windows and a fan, it’s almost bearable. In the winter, it gets a little weird. Our heat isn’t evenly distributed throughout the building, so your daughter can end up with a room that’s sweltering or a room that’s a nice kind of warm. However, if enough people complain, someone will turn the heat down. So in the end, it’s manageable. We don’t have AC (with the exception of some lounges), however, if your daughter has allergies or asthma, she can send in a doctor’s note and fill out a form to have AC installed. If you or your daughter have ANY more questions, I’d be more than happy to help. Just message me Yay DRC girls!!!
