Hey…r u a girl or a boy …no offence jusk asking…PS help me if u can
I am an Indian student of the CBSE board studying in Dubai…I wish to get accepted in any of the prestigious schools…but I aim for Harvard , Princeton or Yale…Can you tell me my chances of getting in as an NRI ( Non Residential Indian ) and also if i can get any financial aid , as here they are not many ( in fact no ) scholarship programs…I am not good in music but i am very fond of Reading/Writing/Literature and want to become a psychologist. So can anyone guide me , like how do i give the AP tests , since we don’t have them here and the interviews , essays and all the other basic application formats - and above all inform me if I have any chance of acceptance( 'coz i am an Indian studying in Dubai , ps. note that we follow the Indian curriculum )…Plz reply.

@spuding102 that is amazing! Congratulations!
What would you advice if I’m at the pit where I’m not improving anymore. I’m currently stuck at 2200, want to boost my score to at least 2300.
I’m busy with school work and pressure from loads of SATII subject tests that I will take in Nov, so I don’t have much time from my Oct SAT work either. I’m still memorizing vocabs every day and keep doing exercise, but it’s really discouraging because my score keeps going down!

where did you get the lsat test?

Hi! I just had a question about ranking, because it is huge here in Texas. I was all about popularity in my freshman year, and my grades were pretty ugly, but my GPA was a 3.9 and my rank was a 179/1586, but I’m back on the right track with a new mindset, and I am now a Sophomore. I always take all advanced classes, and do my best in them. Do you think that by the time I graduate/apply to college, I can be in ranks 1-10?

So at least one section for each part(CR, Math, Writing) per day? Thats about like three sections, right?

how do you find blue book grammar explanations on CC?? I can’t find them :(

@spuding102 Hi I have two questions regarding your post. So do you do at least one section for each portion per day ( 3 sections total) or am I missing your point? And also how do you find the blue book grammar explanations on CC? Some questions are really confusing!

No 1 section per day so reading takes 3 days, math takes 3, and writing takes one day since I did both sections that
day. Google the writing questions and the explanations are usually just old posts of people asking the same question.

Appreciate it!! Good luck in Duke! :)

@spuding102 Sorry but what did you mean that you" did both sections" that day? Would it be okay if I do CR, Math, Writing on one day if I have extra time? Or should I do multiple sections of CR on the days for CR?

You should do as many sections per day as you are able to. I personally liked to the CR sections one after another and then math and then writing. Develop your own schedule as you see fit

@spuding102 okay! And did you do any extracurriculars?

I’m going to take SAT in december 6.
I got really poor marks in all the sections. Maths:660 CR:430 and Writing:500.
I really really need help especially in CR, please help.

@spuding102 Hi I have some questions… why does The Princeton Review sat prep book throw you off? And don’t you have to pay like $70 to get the 9 online course exams? Is the course helpful and worth for buying it? Sorry I have so many questions lol

whats the name of the blue book ?

@spuding102 what was the name of blue book?

@risk101 It’s the official CollegeBoard 2nd Edition SAT Textbook.

Improve your vocabulary and practice finding clues from the passage.

You should improve your vocabulary and practice finding clues from the passage. If you don’t understand the question then don’t waste your time thinking about it and move to the next one. One thing I do that I find really helpful in understanding the passages is reading the whole thing before answering the questions but this really depends on whether your a fast or slow reader. Good luck!

how did u get lsat tests
