How important are certain aspects of my applications?

So, currently I've just finished junior year of high school and going into my senior year, and am wondering exactly where I stand as far as college applications go.

I just got my SAT score, and it was a 2170, which I know is a pretty good score, however, my GPA is somewhat lacking at right around a 91, since I slacked off freshman and sophomore year. And what I fear most is that my extra curriculars and outside activities are close to nonexistant, which will make my applications come off really empty. I've gotten a few hours at our local food bank this summer of volunteer work (around 20 hours), I'm part of our school's National Honor Society (though we don't really do much), and I am a member of Mu Alpha Theta, though I never went to a meeting (but they can't kick out members apparently). I took part in our school's Electronic Future Club (we basically just played video games though v_v), and that's all I have.

Now as far as courses go, I took English 3 AP this year, and did decently in it (still waiting on the AP Exam result though), and next year am taking 5 AP classes.

So I'm just wondering how a college the of level U. Penn would view my application, or if I were going more locally, University of Texas at Austin. Just in general, where do you guys think I stand in terms of admissions and scholarships?

I think you’re basically in trouble, because a lot of people at the schools you’re applying to will have those scores, but will also be involved in extracurricular activities, where they actually do stuff.

I mean, do you serious do NOTHING besides study? Because that’s basically what it means when you don’t have extracurriculars.

I’m not sure what your main question is.

Upenn probably would base the app like:
45% grades, 25% SAT + SAT II, 17.5% EC, 12.5% on personal qualities/characteristics,essays,recs

Utexas would have a much more higher emphasis on grades / SAT.

Youre in big trouble for Upenn, but Utexas will be possible.

It’s not so much that I do nothing besides study… It’s more that I do nothing. I admittedly have never gone out of my way for anything extra curricular or school-related, I’ve tried to keep a decent GPA, and that’s about it. Really up until now I was expecting 1700-ish on the SAT, and planned to go to University of Texas at San Antonio here and if possible UT Austin, but since my SAT scores came in much higher than I was thinking, I figured I should see if I have chances at maybe some place beyond just UT, and that maybe UT Austin would be more certain than I had previously expected.

I suppose I’ve been lazy in high school in general. A lot of summers I’ve been overseas for vacation (Pakistan), and done some volunteering there, and some work with my uncle and his printing press, but that’s about it. I just never found the motivation to go out and find extra curriculars to participate in/none seemed to interest me.

If it helps at all, it’s not that I’m a completely lazy person in life, just in school. I don’t just go to school and sleep all day or anything. I work out 5-6 days a week, enjoy video games, reading, video editing, and the like. It just so happens that I’ve never translated anything to school extra-curriculars or to volunteer work (I have a little bit of that though).
