How important are sat 2's?

<p>Some schools require them; (MIT requires 1 math and 1 science, for example). Some studies show SAT II's more valuable -- good numbers are a good thing on your apps.</p>

<p>Among the elite schools (the Ivies, Stanford, MIT, etc.) SAT IIs are just as important as the SATs. Almost every where else they hold a lot less weight. Of course, if a college requires or strongly recommends SAT IIs chances are they'll be an important part of the application.</p>
