How important are SAT II scores for top top colleges?

<p>What I really mean is: </p>

<p>I got a 740 in physics. I don't know how...I thought I had a 770 at least...but anyhow...</p>

<p>But in 10th grade I had a 95 in physics, and a 100 in 11th grade...and physics is my favorite subject. And I will, in all likelihood, get a great recommendation letter from my high school physics teacher who thinks the world of me.</p>

<p>Would this score seriously jeopardize my chances? Or will the other physics scores save me for top 10 schools?</p>

<p>A 740 is not a deal breaker, it isn’t going to make a difference in whether or not you are accepted anywhere.</p>
