Hey guys,

I think I did relatively well on the first 3 sections of today's ACT. However, the science can suck mah D like *** was that. Hoping for 34 or so!

Anyways, after being utterly destroyed on science (hoping for at least 30 on science -_-), I was completely just out of it. We started the essay and I was feeling all disappointed. I'm actually a pretty good ACT/SAT writer, but I was absolutely devastated after the science massacre.

Although I usually wrote 3-4 pages on practice ACT essays (well...I only did one), I was only able to get through 2 pages today. My examples were relatively mediocre, and I feel some things were redundant. Anyways, I only wrote 2 pages, and am expecting a score between 4 and 9.

If I get my desired composite score (34+), will this essay score hold me down? I'm worried I might have to retake simply because my essay score (which doesn't contribute to composite score) is garbage. I forgot my pre-made template for intro, and came up with one on the spot. Also forgot to include a counterargument. Excluding the intro/conclusion, I only had like 4 solid explanation paragraphs. Anyways, does the essay score matter too much? I'd like to receive a 34 and be done with standardized testing, I'm a senior :(
