I have just finished my last AP test today; Physics C. And I quite possibly can only get a 3.. I absolutely got destroyed by that test. How important is AP Exams in getting into a good college? I'm definitly getting 4's and 5's on my other 3 exams, but Physics C crushed me.

For ivy league and top schools like MIT/Harvard- important for assessing academic skills etc.
For other schools- not important for admissions, but for placement once you get in

Getting crushed by one exam will not really hurt you even for the ivies.. but getting crushed by multiple (like 4 or 5) exams may shade a dark light on your academics, but one that can be made up for by SATs or Awesome Extracurriculars

I would consider SAT II's a paramountcy in admission ifor tier schools. AP scores seem to be important, but not in the same respect. If an individual is to recieve a "5" on an exam they are given credit and placement; other times, either or. Furthermore, if you do score a "5" you won't have to relinquish any money on a class in college; this is obviously not something most colleges want to do--business is business. Don't get me wrong though, of course it's always important to do well on AP's, but by no means is it the end of world.

I feel you man. The FR mechanics questions raped me badly. Don't give up all hope though. The general consensus is that the Physics C test this year (especially the FR) was obscenely hard. Maybe the curve will be especially forgiving...
