I notice that in many fill in the blanks and even CR, the choices that are presented to me or the text, or the text, have some vocabulary words that I do not know. For example, one of the CR answer choices was: ebullient, diffident, sanguine, surly, and wry. I do not know what any of those mean. Am I in trouble?

In this case, should I just ALWAYS look up words that I do not know the definition to? From my past experience, I need to encounter or use the word many times before it becomes engraved in my mind. Should I treat these words as flashcard words and study them? I encounter new words everywhere I go in the SATs.. What do you think I should do? 1 word definition can make a difference but there are millions to study from.
