How important is my personal statement when it comes to college admissions?

So I am applying to NC State for the first early action deadline. I think I did fine on the application as a whole, but I had problems writing a personal statement. I'm not sure really how strong it is and how much it will be weighted when my application is being processed. Here are my other characteristics that may make up for my personal statement:
-My unweighted GPA is a 3.9 and my weighted GPA is a 4.86.
-I'm currently ranked 2nd in my class.
-I will have taken 8 AP courses (only 9 are offered at my school) and I have received a 5 and 4s on the exams I have taken so far.
-My SAT score wasn't that great (1760), but I retook it this October to try to bring it up.
-I also have community service, clubs such as the National Honor Society, I have a job in the career field I'm interested in, and I am a Hispanic female.

So what do you think my chances are of getting into NC State even if my personal statement is not the best?
