Ok I have a problem. My counselor really does not know me and I honestly believe she does not like me, but I have to have a counselor recommendation so I got her to fill it out. 2 sentences and she had marked out a word and kept on writing. This doesn't seem too professional to me and I was wondering just how important this is and if it is really going to effect me.

I have two teacher recs that are gonna be outstanding and plus the teachers have known me longer. I even gave the counselor a resume so she actually knew what I do with my time.

It is imporant because the colleges need to gauge your progress with others in your class. Don't worry about the crosses or worry yourself over unfound suspicions. If she does not know you, then she has no reason to dislike you (of course, it is a good idea to suck up to your counsellor, as I have being doing since Grade 9 ;)).

She also fills out a portion that guages how rigorous your course work is, compared to what is available at your school. That's an important piece of the puzzle.

The GC evaluation is very objective. Unless she blatantly makes up stuff about your being suspended for drug trafficking or lie and say your 16 AP is only a moderately hard course load, she cannot subjectively change much of your credentials.
