I want to get into Yale, but I don’t think I can do so through purely my grades/etc, so I think it would be best to be recruited through my fencing.
Assuming that I do get recruited, what will my experience be like as a fencer at Yale? How frequent are the practices & how long are they? What sorts of responsibilities go along with that?

I understand that Yale does not recruit much for fencing, but there are some much better informed parents here than me that may chime in and help you.
We had one girl from my daughter’s fencing club go to Yale to fence in the 2000’s, but she was exceptional. She went on to medal in two Olympics and earn a #1 world ranking in women’s saber - the first US woman to ever do that!
