I'm a new international student pretty much committed to CC. However, one of my biggest concerns with moving to the States is health insurance. From my personal experience I had to take the ambulance to an emergency room and stayed in a VIP room for three days in a university hospital with all meals covered in my country and it cost 200 USD. People frequently visit the doctor's office whenever they feel even just a little bit sick and it's like 3 dollars per visit (maximum 10 if you get an injection). So I'm quite afraid to move to a country with a different healthcare system. I have lived in the States for a short period and yes, it is definitely different. I have read the brochure about the Columbia Plan but I want to hear from current students about their experiences (I'm planning to be on the comprehensive plan since I'm sick often). Did anyone have difficulties (especially financial concerns)?

Oh, and I'm from South Korea.
Thank you so much!
