Any idea where and how to get the health insurance (including Dental and Vision). Yes the college offer is there, but I was wondering if there were alternatives or everyone was just signing up at the college?

I got the college's health plan but only because it was covered by my financial aid package (I would have had to pay for any other health insurance myself). Most college's health plans don't cover dental and vision though...

Out of curiosity: how much is your college's plan with dental and vision care?

when i got in usc they will bill you health insurance if you dont show a plan similar to their coverage.

college (spring) rate is $141 for half year ($282 full year). The coverage pays 100%up to first $2000 (subject to limits under different heads) for covered injury/sickness (inpatient or outpatient) as basic benefit. After that, 80% of expenses but not exceeding $50k.

Then there are exclusions, exclusions, conditions, conditions et all. I think this is a very minimal. But one thing, for intenaltional students the cover includes repatriation and medical evacuation benefits - well the ultimate limit is the $limit.

Any thoughts, where else I could look for better policies if that exists?
