How is financial aid for Out of Staters?

I've been burned by some other college ehemUCLAehem so I'm wondering about this. I had EFC of about $1870....... Any experience with cornell and financial assistance? I can't enroll in cornell unless I get at least 75% ~ 100% of my tuition and other fees paid for...but not in HUGE loans.. If there's not enough offered then I'll go to University of Texas at Austin, which is a great school, too =D If there are loans, how much should I expect to get?

Please offer some good advice please~~ >A<!!

My stats are roughly
GPA 3.8
Rank 65/630 (T_T... it's horrible. but my school is "recognized" as a difficult school.)
SAT 2280
PSAT National Merit Finalist

Lots of Church-related ECs and volunteering
Youth and Governement state delegate
Orchestra Region & Area Awards, Solo Performance Awards
Local Hospital Volunteering
Mustang Mentors (Freshman mentoring program)
Latin Club
National Honor Society

financial aid is need base at cornell

oh. my EFC is $1870, any ideas anyone?

I can't tell you how much they'll give, but I can tell you that it won't make any difference that you're from CA or any other state for that matter.

that's awesome =D

If your efc is 1870, they will be very generous.
