How is Forbes annex, particularly first floor?

can anyone living there this year give some feedback on these rooms?

based on this book, worse dorm.

I know someone who lives there; it's very unappealing. Endlessly meandering narrow hallways and lots of cinderblock. The rooms were all tiny doubles. Many parts of campus seemed to be a bit of a hike away.

On the plus side, Forbes had its own little store within the building (with heavily discounted prices) that was open late into the night.

Quick important distinction to make: the Addition is the part that's not so hot (although it has some merits). The Annex actually has some of the best rooms on campus (very large singles which sophomores often happily draw into), though the architecture leaves something to be desired.

Other weird Forbesian (appropriately pronounced for-BEE-zhun, all chic-like :p) terms:

the Island - a part of the addition disconnected from the rest of the Addition.

the Strat - the fourth floor of the Addition known for its crazy parties (VERY fun place that was one of the tightest-knit floors I encountered last year)

Honestly, they should give incoming Forbesians a Forbes 101 class since things over there are pretty different from the rest of campus.
