How is GPA Recalculated?

Hi there, I am a senior in a Florida High School and I am trying to figure out how Florida Universities are going to recalculate my GPA.

Throughout high school, I have struggled with math. It took my 3 attempts to pass Algebra II. Other than math related classes I take all Honors or AP courses. This year I am taking Probability and Statistics and it is an honor level class.

My unweighted core GPA right now is a 2.4.

Weighted GPA is a 3.15.

Here is where my confusion comes, every public Florida University recalculated GPA based on only core classes. They also have minimum core class requirements and what I want to know is will they take my best grades under those requirements or will they count every course I've taken. I ask this because this is how Florida's Bright Futures works. See those requirements here: Florida Student Scholarship and Grant Programs

Now when it comes to colleges, The University of South Florida is my top choice and here is their Admission Eligibility chart where you can see their minimum requirements. Chart here: http://usfweb2.usf.edu/Admissions/pdf/counselor-grid.pdf

Also I have a 28 ACT if you wanted to view my chances on that grid.

So basically will they recalculate my GPA the same way Bright Futures will?

Bump. Any knowledge will be appreciated.
