<p>I read from a thread that Grammatix for the Essay on the SAT suck. It encourages you not to use examples from history or literature. I thought you were always suppose to use concrete examples for the SAT essay. Those of you who bought the book, is the SAT book help you on the essay? How many points did you improve on the essay? Is Grammatix overall good? How much did your overall score improve if you bought Grammatix?</p>

<p>I bought the book, but when I ready the strategy guide about strategies for the essay I feel that the essay strategy will probaably not be effective. In my opinion it basically telling you not to use concrete examples to support your essay. I want to know what everyone else thinks about this strategy and the overall book.</p>
