How is my GPA considered?

Hey guys, I'm new here so sorry in advance if this is posted in the wrong section or if it has already been answered.

I am currently a rising senior and I'm worried about how colleges will consider my GPA. I attended an extremely competitive high school in NYC (stuy if anyone has heard of it) and had a cumulative GPA of 3.7 ish for both freshman and sophomore year. Due to a family medical emergency, I had to move in with my father in NJ during junior year so I currently attend a normal public school here. I was able to get a 4.0 with all AP and honors this year, but I know this is not regarded highly since its not a super competitive school. My standardized test scores are decent (ACT 35, all 5's and one 4 on AP exams, 3 SAT Subject Tests all between 780 - 800), but I'm not sure if my GPA of 3.8 ish will be looked at on a normal public school scale or a competitive high school scale. Any type of input would help at this point :)

Colleges are VERY familiar with Stuy and we have a resident expert. I’m sure you’ll do well if you are reasonable with your college list. There should be no reason you can’t shoot for the top, but have a good mix of lower but still highly ranked (Top 30) schools as well.

Your GPA will be viewed just as highly. A college won’t penalize you because you are in a different school.
