how is my schedule?

i just got back from orientation - i'm so excited for this fall! however, i'm still stressing over my schedule.

i'm thinking about majoring in international studies, though i'm certainly not 100% sure, but regardless i want to take classes that tie in with intl studies to see if i'm interested.

so far i've got: french 103, english 125, intro to political theory, cultural anthropology and UC 102

that comes to a total of 17 credits.. which seems like too many for a first semester freshman?? i don't want to be overwhelmed. on the other hand, if i take out anthrcult for example, i will only have 13 credits!

i'm in a learning community which requires me to take a 1 credit seminar which is kind of annoying. so should i take the seminar plus three other classes or 4?

and are you required to have 30 credits by the end of freshman year?

None of those classes are too difficult so you should be fine. You don’t have to have 30 credits by the end of freshman year. You pay the same tuition for 12 credits or 18 credits, so the less you take the higher per credit you pay (crazy but true)! Good luck and GO BLUE!
