HOW IS NYU'S FINANCIAL AID FOR MIDDLE CLASS FAMILIES?

What’s up College Confidential.
Well, the subject says it all.
By middle class, I mean a total income of about $80k-$100k a year. Whether that’s middle class or upper middle class, I find myself just above the usual lower income threshold, but do not have the funds to pay for college (first generation, parents did not have time to save for college).
So how’s NYU need based aid? Merit based aid? Are full tuition scholarships usually saved for lower income students?
Any information would help! If anyone affiliated with NYU in any way could share their experiences with their financial aid, that would be pretty cool. Thanks!

If NYU really wants you because of your high stats or outstanding accomplishments, they will meet more of your need and will offer you more financial aid. Full tuition scholarships require very high stats–think above the 75th percentile on the common data set.
