I'm planning to take polisci 2(comparitive politics) this year, but I'm quite worried about the huge amount of reading and countless papers I'll have to write during the first term of college. I'm an international, and I plan to take two honors science courses(math&physics) this term; do you think it is a wise choice for me to choose polisci 2?

Especially to current Berkeley students, I want to ask you if polisci 2 is particularly more demanding than other humanities&social science courses, and if this course can be taken without much background in politics. I had only a term of politics course(about American instititutions) during high school.

(FYI, my SAT verbal score is 780, and AP Eng. Literature score is 4, but I don't think these scores necessarily reflect my English proficiency)
