I’m trying to decide between UCSD and UCD. How is it in UCD? I look at the website and the workload seems deceptively smaller compered to UCSD which if I attend there I still have to complete 4 lower division requirements and I have 2 Sixth college class requirements and take 12 upper division classes. It SEEMS that in UCD I have to take 10-11 classes and I already completed my IGETC and lower division requirements but still have to take some additional history and foreign language classes?.

If you already completed them in high school, you do not need to take a foreign language or history class. One of my flatmates is a Psychology major and graduating this year (but with a BS degree instead of a BA), and after clearing it with her adviser, she learned that she didn’t need to take a foreign language class or a history class because she already fulfilled those requirements in high school.
