how is the financial aid?

<p>how is the financial aid? are y'all happy with it and does it consist primarily of loans? any advice for this year?</p>

<p>mostly grants here....only 4K in loans out of 40K/year.</p>

<p>USC supplied the best package out of all the schools I applied to (class of 09).</p>

<p>**edit: all need-based too. no scholarship.</p>

<p>I'm a transfer student, just got in a week back.. Any idea when will I hear about my financial aid..? I'm not a Cal. resident.. Will that affect my financial aid? Do they give any grants besides PELL and FSEOG?</p>

<p>I applied for the school by like Jan 5th, sent in all needed financial aid stuff by Feb 1st, and received my financial aid package like March 15th.</p>

<p>I received a University Grant, Pell Grant, and SEOG grant</p>

<p>Oh, and I live in NY.</p>
