How is Mount Holyoke's financial aid? Is it generous or does it give money sparingly? My financial need is enormous so I need a lot of money. Also, what kind of merit awards does Mount Holyoke have?

For current students, what kind of aid did Mount Holyoke give you? Were you satisified with the aid?

Hello!
I am an international student entering Mount Holyoke this fall.
My financial aid need was also tremendous. I applied ED to Mount Holyoke and got in. Plus they met my financial need. It is supplemented with a student loan. But in totality Mount Holyoke gave me a good package with which I can get thru college comfortably.
I am an international student and I dont know how it works for the others. But I can tell you theyre quite generous!

Mount Holyoke is EXTREMELY generous - I remember it ranked 3rd in financial aid in the Princeton Review or some other ranking (I can't remember). Speaking from personal experience, they gave me an amazing package! In addition to a GREAT (and I mean GREAT) financial aid package, they gave me a 10,000 leadership award that I didn't even apply for!!! So yes, there are a limited amount of merit awards. (I remember readnig in a pamphlet somewhere that they range from 5,000 to 25,000). I encourage you to apply because they are not at all frugal.

Hi,

I'm also an international student and Mount Holyoke gave me a full ride. I was given a grant, a leadership award, a loan, and a campus job. I truly believe MH can satisfy your financial needs, so definitely apply.

What is the average debt students are in after their education?
