How is the math department in Union

How is the math department in Union

The math department at Union has an excellent reputation, according to several very strong students I know who've taken math courses there. The department has a number of very good scholars who are also superb and dedicated teachers. Several math professors have won college-wide teaching awards, and this year Prof. Alan Taylor received national recognition from the Mathematical Association of America prize for excellence in his teaching.

This page links to copies of past department newsletters and includes a number of first-person accounts from recent students and graduates about their experiences at Union, as well as information on the departments initiatives.

The faculty take a special interest in encouraging undergraduate research and working with them closely on their projects.

Thanks,wisteria
It seems great and I will definitely apply to Union

And how about physics and computer science?I am considering about double major

You should look into Union's IMP program (Integrated Math and Physics) if you're interested both. As far as I know, I think the computer science program is also strong considering Union has a very strong Engineering/technology based curriculum.
