Has anyone looked at dorming for ucr? What do yall suggest
@mainecoons14 my GPa is like 4.2 but I had a major upward trend junior year with a 4.7 GPa my ACT was low though, 25. Im a bio major but I might switch to Idk
@waitlisted1234 Pentland hills definitely Ive been to ucr and AI is a dump.
@mainecoons14 I heard pentlands is separated between west lothians and east lothians and if you put pentlands, you have a chance of getting the west one, which is more of a dump than AI. Idkkk that’s just what I heard
@waitlisted1234 If I pass the ap exam, I don’t need to take the math placement test right?(I chose pentland, it’s the newest one and has two rooms-shared bathrooms, although it’s a little bit more expensive than other two)
@mainecoons14 My GPA is around 3.9 and have a 28 on ACT, and my major is Computer Engineering
@Oracion yeah I don’t think you have to take it. But if you wait until ap results come out and you happen to not pass, then you can’t take a math class
@waitlisted1234 I haven’t heard anything about that but I was chosen for honors so I don’t get to pick my housing sadly. @Oracion yeah I think they take 3’s or above on the ap test.
@mainecoons14 Mann I was invited to the honor’s program but I regrettably didn’t apply for it. The struggle :((. Maybe I’ll go for pentlands then?? We’ll see
@waitlisted1234 I wasn’t going to apply but i am so so so so happy that I did. I visited UCR and you get so much stuff when you’re honors and you get free housing at Pentland which is amazing.

@Oracion im not sure but I think there are multiple dates in May/June? It probably says somewhere
@waitlisted1234 yeah San Diego, @oracion as long as there are enough seats in the test room you can sign up the day before. They have A LOT of dates you can sign up for that go through the summer so don’t worry quite yet.
