a lot of people are getting accepted from Berkeley’s waitlist so more space! YAYYYY
PLEEEEEEASE UCI
UCI wait-list decisions might not be coming out tomorrow. Remember that there are quite a few people that have submitted their SIR to UCI but just got off the wait list for Davis, Berkeley, San Diego, or LA. Once you get off a waiting list, you have a few days to tell them what you’re going to do. So first UCI needs to wait until all these kinds of people make their decisions first and then they will know how it has impacted the applicant pool and then UCI can start taking off the wait list. I know some people that have SIR’d to UCI but now got off the wait list for UCSD and now they switched over to UCSD so this is a good sign. I have high hopes!!
How do we forfeit our deposit to the back up school?

Anyone know how many people are on the waitlist?
Not sure. But looking at past statistics from Ms. Sun’s page, it seems that it ranges greatly from school to school.

@boopboopbeep if I had to guess I’d say around 1300, DONT look at mrs Suns numbers because they’re wrong. A counselor from irvine told me they admitted 80% of wait list students.

Ah, yeah, my bad there. Thought the link was for both freshman and transfers. Looks like much less of a chance for us transfers then.

Ha I was waitlisted for ucr too.
Has anyone paid for housing for ucr yet? For guaranteed housing you need to pay by May 10 but I don’t want to pay until I hear back from uci /:
