<p>No econ is not impacted at UCSD. It is however, quite popular.</p>

<p>Wow I wonder if that teaching crosses over to the entire university. I guess this could be a big factor in my decision between USC and UCSD.</p>

<p>i would think that no matter what university u go to, all the universities at this level WILL be this hard...id be shocked to hear that SD had much harder classes than berkeley, LA, etc...</p>
