What do you know about their economics major?

I do know that ArtSci Econ tends to be more challenging and enriching than that of the b-school preschool.

The intro level econ classes in b-school are harder than artsci, but artsci econ becomes way harder once you enter the 300/400 level (e.g. 4011/4021, 467)

It’s amazing.

Look at the department’s website to get a feel for the types of courses/concentrations, research centers, faculty, etc. And… use the CC search feature.

I like this Q! what resources are available for prospective economics majors there?

yeah I hear it’s great but also rather difficult. If you want to be an econ major, everyone says to take MEC 290 wth MacDonald. I’ve talked with him before but I’m not in his class, but he’s an awesome person and apparently was in a rock band too.

speaking of which, I’m in MEC 290 now with Baccara. I’m not sure if anyone can answer this but how are business school classes graded? She sain on the syllabus that grading will follow School’s guidelines; I don’t know what that means, but I’m kinda worried cause I don’t think I fared too well against the first exam.
