How likely am I to get into Princeton?

<p>Hi I'm a junior right now, and I'm looking to apply to Princeton next year.</p>

<p>Background:
Resident of New Jersey
Asian-American Male
First generation, parents did not attend college in US, brother attends Cornell Univ.</p>

<p>My academic qualifications:
4.4 GPA
PSAT - 2300
SAT - 2280 (Math 800, CR 750, Writing 730)
I go to a really competitive school in New Jersey, ranked 4th in the state.
My class rank is 6th out of 160.
SAT II Biology - 720
SAT II Chemistry - 690
SAT II Math IIC - 750
so far all my final grades for classes have been A's</p>

<p>APs Junior year: Biology, US I, Statistics
APs Senior year: Spanish, English, Calculus AB, Physics, European History, US II, Art History</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Freshmen soccer, Soccer every summer for Yunnan Province youth team in China
3 time varsity chess player
Editor of school newspaper for this year, writer for previous two years
Volunteer every saturday for four hours at local chinese school, total of about 200 hours upon graduation
12 Years of Chinese School, fluent, passed the HSK language efficiency test
President of Asian Culture Society since sophomore year
3 Year Academic Team member
9 Years of Piano, 4 Years of violin, 2 years of guitar
Spanish Honors Society
National Honors Society
Wrote books for poor children in Uganda for a school project (Memory Project)
Silver medal in Yunnan Province youth fencing tournament
Freshman year Model UN
Went to Columbia University's Summer High School program last summer, received A on the Final exam
Tutor students in my school as a little side job
3 time selected participant of American Math Competition
plan on attending NYLC this next summer

<p>Shorten your list of ECs to the ones your going to write on your application. Your SAT IIs are a bit low, but you have some good ECs, although it'd be best to show which ones are most important so that your application won't be garbled.</p>

<p>I'd say you have about a 9.9% chance of getting into Princeton. Good luck!</p>

<p>I agree with shortening your list of EC's, show a few that really meant the most to you.</p>

<p>nice/interesting ec's, low test scores, ok gpa, lacking in awards, and how did you do on your ap tests?</p>

<p>your scores are fine- take a look at what other people have gotten- a lot of them scored lower that you did- and had low gpa's. the most important thing at this point would be how well you present your EC- which are really interesting. so good luck.</p>
