I already got into SUNY-Binghamton, SUNY-Stony Brook, and Rutgers-New Brunswick...my gpa was a 3.31 unweighted, good SATs and ECs, blahblah...

Now, my only concern now is that my first quarter grades were 2.7 and my second quarter grades that just came in was a 2.9. I know that the schools request a final transcript at the end of the year...how low can my gpa go to be in risk of getting denied admission? The main reason why my gpa was so low was because of AP Psychology; I failed first quarter and got a D second quarter...all my other classes are A's and B+'s.

Yes, is that good or bad?

ur gpa isnt horrible, even the 2.8 or .9...however, the failing of the class they might take into concideration. Call them and ask them waht they think, or attatch a letter to your grades with an explination of what happened. Becaus you have a solid gpa besides the AP psych, i wouldnt be too worried about being kicked out now that ur into soem of those schools, i would be worried about the schoolsu havent heard back from because mid year reports sometimes are make or break.
ps. how the heck did u fail ap psych?

Well, I already got into the schools, as long as I don't fail the remaining two quarters, I'll still get a passing grade in the class at the end of the year and they'll never see the F. AP Psych is first period for me, every day at 7:30 am. A lot of times I come in late or just sleep past the period...so...my test grades never came back too hot. The thing that ****es me off, though, is how he never gives us progress reports or tells us how he calculates his grades; I actually thought I got at least a C this quarter. Nasty surprise today when I saw the D. If I want a final C avg in the class I'll have to get B's.

Um WAKE UP IN THE MORNING EVERY MORNING AND DON"T MAKE EXCUSES CAUSE YOU COULD GET YOUR ADMISSION RESCINDED!!!!

OKay, that was yelling at you to get up tomorrow : )

Buy an alarm and know that if oyu don't pass, you could get a probationary period or something like that

it happens and why risk it if you sleep in

Study your ass off for the next test.Sleep during 2nd block. A D in such an easy class is especially bad.
