How likely is it that I will get admitted?

I'm a senior in high school and I'm wondering what my chances of getting into UF are (I've already applied and sent them my info).

I have good test scores:
SAT: 2150
ACT: 31

AP Classes:
I have taken 8 AP classes thus far, and I've passed 7 out of the 8 AP Exams (got a 5 in AP Bio and AP Lang). I'm taking an additional 6 this year.

Cons:
My GPA and my extracurricular are where I am lacking.
I have an unweighted GPA of 3.1
I have more or less no major extracurricular barring a few clubs in which I played a minor role.

Still, my Essay was boss and I've been accepted into UCF and FSU already.
Do you all think I'll get into UF or not?

What is your UF weighed GPA and
anything over a 3.6 should get
you in ?

I think its great that you took a very challenging curriculum and have solid test scores, but that GPA is rather low. My regional admissions director told my high school a “good gpa and curriculum will triumph a low test score, but not the other way around”.

Unrelated note, has anyone noticed FSU stepping up there game? My friend with a 3.6 weighted and a 35 act score got deffered

i wouldn’t look at someone with a 3.6 weighted GPA being deferred as a sign of FSU becoming more competitive.

its just rather odd, everyone gone in last year. They accepted people with 3.1 uw gpa’s and such.

that’s because they recalculate GPAs Nc…get your facts straight

you should definitely get in brofaux, you are one of the smarter kinds…

I was rejected last year with a 3.7~ UF GPA and 2260 SATs, but I’m OOS.

Whew, it’s scary that some people with such high scores have been differed. But hopefully Jossie is correct.

@Nc7777: I have quite a few friends that got into FSU without excellent, but reasonable, scores this year. But it does some like competition is high this year.
