How Long did It Take You to Finish HP 7?

So i was cheking out the threads today, and so a couple of Harry Potter posts. The Deathly Hallows has been released just a couple of days ago
but already so many people seem to have finished it :P

So i'm curious, how long did it take u to finish all of the 759 pages (or so) of hp book 7? If u r not done, just post the page ur on and when u started reading. :)

9 hours./*****/

about 8-10 hours i think
something like
5PM-7PM
8PM-11PM
12AM-2AM
7AM-9AM

9 hours for me as well.
I couldn't force myself to savor it slowly.

15 hours. I'm a slow reader, but I don't mind. It hasn't come back to hurt me, yet.

two days, because i had to sleep so i could go to work -_-

around 7-8 hours over two days I think.

I'll have to estimate, because until 9 PM I could only read in 5 minute chunks (my cousins were visiting, which = me babysitting them the entire time)... but between six and seven hours.

6 hours with no breaks. I was ready to eat when I was done.

i don't remember, but i spread it over that saturday/sunday.
didn't spend the whole time reading either.

5 hours from 1 am to 6 am.

7 hours and 20 minutes :P
i counted....that book was by far the best

A couple hours. There wasn't a watch nearby, I was in a cave.

5 hours 15 minutes

best book in the series

5 hrs, with foggy details

I haven't read a single book. So I'm going to start with HP1. :p and I think that'll take me about an hour or two.

Don't judge the whole series on the first book. Rowling improved quite a bit as a writer since the beginning. It will probably take a couple of hours to read, if that. The rest of the books get longer and more involved though. Each one builds on the next so pay attention to details.

I read HP7 in about 5 and 1/2 hours. The only problem with finishing it so soon is that there's no one else to talk to about the book for a few days!!

2 hours in a Starbucks :); the same for my brother, (yes we did buy two)

I didn't think that they were related. Isn't each one a seperate year at hogworts or whatever that school is?

Yes each is a separate year, but they build on each other so should definitely be read in order. Each book is a stand-alone novel with a very brief background given in the first chapter or two, but certain elements/events are directly related to those from previous/future books.
