Can anyone here read a 200 page decent level book for 11th graders in 5 hours?

If it's interesting, yes.

Don't forget to take breaks in between. You don't want your eyes to rot and fall out from not blinking for so long.

10char

Definitely, as long as it's not a terrible book, if not I'd just fall asleep...

HARRY POTTER!!! I read that book in about 17 hours. I stayed up till 5 in the morning and read it when I was *suppose * to be lifeguarding.

There was this one book that was so good, I had to keep it in my left hand. Half the pages were glued shut by the time I was done.

Very doable. Depends how heavy the book is. If its a michael crichton, dan brown, or JK Rowling, I can easily devour 200 pages under 5 hours (I normally read 150 pages per 3 hrs for light reading)

Why do I have a sudden feeling that you're Korean?

Btw, you just said 'school' which I don't understand.

I read: "The Hamster Helper" in about 30 mins!

It was really cool! It was this second grader named Harry who wanted to be Hamster Helper (his teacher had a hamster in the class and he chose a hamster helper every week!). The hamster helper got to take care of the hamster for the week.

School book- no. Books I read for leisure- maybe 3 hours?

@Metdeth
Whaaaat?! You broke so many rules with that one post. Haven't anyone taught you that you're not suppose to let loose a cliffhanger without a warning beforehand?

So...what happened to the hamster?

Probably in no more than 2 hours--and that's a stretch.

LOL BrightRed!

Well the Hamster had a cold so he kept on sneezing. Harry took him along in his pocket on the school's field trip to the museum and then the Hamster got out!

After much worry (this was the plot of the story), they found the Hamster because he was sneezing his way around.

;)

I'm the kind of person that finishes it in about 2 if it is good. :P I love to read!

200 pages? In 5 hours? Piece of cake.

Depends on the size of the book/size of the font, but in general 200 pages in 5 hours is nothing.

It's doable, but I don't read that much, so no...

I'm in agreement with most of the people who have posted so far. It's not hard at all if you are interested in the book. For instance, I read 1984(~300 pages) in 5 hours and the last Harry Potter book in about 7 1/2 hours(759 pages).

Liist's post has received disturbingly few responses.

I guess everyone knows better than to encourage him. XD

Thanks, I was wondering why no one responded. I'm sure that all you smartasses would figure it out by now.
