<p>I took out a subsidized loan on Friday and it still isn't showing up on my BARC. I know it that the labor weekend had something to do with it, but generally how long does it take enter our BARC accounts?</p>

my aid still hasn’t disbursed yet. they just update it today, hopefully it will disburse soon :S</p>
<p>Don’t freak, worst comes to worst, just call the school and explain your loan is arriving shortly and ask for a small extension. People at the offices are really nice and ready to help, don’t be afraid to call and ask a few questions.</p>
<p>Do you have to be enrolled in classes for your scholarships to pay off the amount you owe in you BARC account?</p>

<p>they said there should be no problem in my finaid award, but somehow it kept conflicting with the Cal residency info i provided them 8/26. They said it should’d updated a long time ago, and the disbursement should be fine. I call them like everyday during this time, and they told me to recheck it everytime.</p>

<p>after countless times of speaking to them, and a ton of “on holds”. Finally it disbursed lol :D. I still owe them $470 but i guess it can be taken care of by e-check :). It was really a pain lol</p>

<p>i dont think it’s too late to deferr it. Just fill out the form online, and fax everything to the BARC office. Then pay online using e-check and fax them the receipt. Finally call them and confirm the fax. Also ask them if they still need anything. I’d wait for the day after, make another call and confirm the result :). At least, that’s how it’s done for me</p>
