How long do schools usually take to offer aid package after transfer admission?

I’m applying for transfer, and have already been (provisionally) admitted to my first choice college. I’m really just waiting on the aid package to decide to accept. If it covers a generous amount then I don’t need to know the admission decisions of the other schools I applied to, if not, then I want to wait to see what the best financial option is. I submitted my fafsa near the end of October. I know I’m probably just being impatient, but does anyone have any sort of estimate on how long it takes for a school to get a financial aid package together once you’ve been admitted? Thanks!

This will vary considerably from school to school, so without knowing the school you are waiting on, any answer will be meaningless for your particular situation. Why don’t you take a few minutes and call or send an email to the school’s financial aid office? This is the most efficient way to get the most accurate information you seek.

Okay I will, thanks!

Average - one to two weeks after admission.
