I sent my midyear grades to Pitt on the 25th, and I was just wondering how long it usually takes for them to get back to you after receiving those grades. I’m already pretty set on psu, but I want to know what all my options are before committing, although I don’t want to wait more than a month. Anyone have any idea?
I guess you will have to wait as long as it takes.
On another thread hailtopitt1787 answered that question with “give us a few weeks to review the new information and make a decision”.
If the school just sent those grades on Wednesday, the admissions office might not have even received them yet…
You have until May 1 to make a decision.
Thanks for the reply! I guess a few weeks isn’t too unreasonable of a wait time… lol.
Try not to wring your hands too much in the meantime.
@hailtopitt1787 Is there a way in Pitt Passport to confirm that midterm grades were received by Admissions? Thanks
@concerned2017, If there are no action items listed and the Portal says “Application Complete,” you should be good to go. It usually takes us a few weeks to receive the grades and make an admissions decision. If you have questions about the status of your specific application, you are welcome to call our office: 412-624-7488.
Best,
A Pitt Admissions Staffer
