My son is planning to take two SAT2 tests on June 7. I know someone whose dd (in another state) who was allowed to take about an hour break between her two SAT2 tests. Yet the testing administrator at my son's testing site claims he can only take the "standardized" 5 or 10 minute break between tests (odd that she didn't even know!).

What is the practice elsewhere? Assuming that the SAT2 test time is broken up into three parts, since one could take three SAT2s at one sitting, must students go right on to the next test if they are taking two SAT2 tests, or can they take that middle portion of time off?

Please let me know what happens where you are.

I think the testing administrator might have misunderstood what was being asked. Maybe she meant five or ten minutes in between the three hour-long blocks of time. Did you ask her specifically about taking the second hour off or only about the length of breaks in between tests?

Where I am, no one really tries to take a break before their second test, so no one has asked about taking the second hour off to relax before their second test. I think it's because they would rather leave as soon as possible than anything else.
