<p>I've always had a bit of a problem with the SAT essays and I now realize why. Today I looked at the collegeboard site where they have examples of essays and what they scored. I didn't realize that you could get a 12 with an introduction, 1 body paragraph, and a conclusion. I always thought I was writing less than expected with 4 paragraphs. From now on I'm definitely planning out 1 awesome body paragraph before I write rather than trying to overexert myself with multiple body paragraphs.</p>
<p>I blame the schools for continuously beating the 5 paragraph format into my head for all of these years!</p>
