How many all-nighters do you pull per year?

I never did in high school, and I did once in my first semester of college.

Outside of just plain studying, for homework I use your strategy, I usually go to bed at like 7:30 and wake up at 3-4 AM and do all my homework (earlier if need be)

I’ve pulled around 10 or so. But last year it got to the point where if I wasn’t pulling all-nighters, I was going to bed at 4 or 5. For no reason! Absolutely no reason. I screwed myself over big time.

Taking 7 college level classes and I pull ZERO all nighters. Time management owns everything else.

I try to sleep by 2, 3 at the LATEST. I usually can’t function productively after that, regardless of coffee. I think it is much easier, actually, to do work 1-2 hours before school starts. You’re on a strict limit, so stuff has to get done.

Of course, once, I got home at 9, and slept at 10 until 1 am. Then, I woke up and wrote a paper until 2:30, and went back to sleep. I have to say…that was REALLY productive.

A few each year, but never for school reasons. I’d rather get a bad grade on an assignment or test instead of sacrificing sleep

But you can always make up your lost sleep the next day (or within the next few days).

I’ve never pulled an all nighter in my life. The latest I think I’ve ever stayed up was 4 playing, wait for it, Backyard Baseball 2003 next to my friend. Finished an entire season that night…damn, that game is nostalgic fun.

None. I can’t imagine staying up all night. By 3:30 AM I’m dead and seriously want a bed.

You guys need more motivation.

like 5, maybe. N’ they’re not studying all nighters. They’re girl’s night all nighters :)

Backyard Baseball/Soccer = the pastime of my youth.

If we’re counting non-school reasons, I surprise myself with how late I can stay up during breaks. Over the winter break, I stayed up until about 4 or 5 at least half the time, but never late enough to see the sun rising. And then I’d sleep until the afternoon.
Good thing about that was the break somehow seemed longer.

^me too!! :)

I never pull all-nighters. I’d rather go to sleep. The latest I’ve ever slept during high school is 3:00 A.M. and I wanted to KILL myself the next day because I was so tired.

I am disappoint.

Zero, because I manage my time and prevent stress by getting efficient sleep.

Pulling an all nighter is as common as breathing air for me. Since, I’m far to busy after school, procrastinate a lot, and sometimes over study one subject. I pretty much resort to having an all nighter. So, an average of 50’ish per year.

None. I like sleeping. Almost never get less than 8 hours. I’d rather fail a test/not complete homework etc. than lose sleep.

1 too many, not too many so far this yr. i hate it, but i’m surprisingly not that sleepy during the skool day. but when i get home in the afternoon, well thats a different story

<fuzzleshnops> I have my parents preventing me from going to sleep, so I had to learn to manage time. I’m sure some others are in the same situation. There were a few times I just refused to sleep and wanted to study for my test more, and got WHIPPED LITERALLY for it. I was OK at first but he started whiping me FROME THE FRONT and hit my face (hurt so much). Now I’m not gonna risk going past 11 PM.</fuzzleshnops>
