Approximately how many all-nighters do you pull each month?

Never pulled an all-nighter. The latest I've stayed up is 3AM. That's 'bout it.

I stay up past 4am more often than not, but I've never done an all-nighter. I don't see the point, unless there's a ton of work needing to be crammed into one night.

i've definetly done all nighters. probably 4 already this month. i've gotten used to it.. but everything goes slower in all nighters

During finals or any other exams, about 10 a month. During non-exam periods, 0.
For the random test here and there, I only stay up till 3am the night before and make sure I get at least 4 hours of sleep.

I stayed up all night...once, during the summer. On a school night I've never been up past 11 doing school work. And that was because I had to do a night-shift at work.

I usually pull all nighters 4x a month and stay up until like 3am 10x a month. Last week was insane though, I pulled 3 all-nighters in a row. I usually have to pull them when I have huge papers, that I can't seem to do earlier, but it always works out for me in the end, I usually get higher grades.

I pull all-nighters.

Did one just last night for Suikoden V. :D

A couple times this year. Pure procrastination.

wow. i was expecting much more "i do all nighters all the time" responses.. i do! i did one last night..and the night before.. and i haven't REALLY slept on a normal schedule (i took a 4 hour nap at noon yesterday) for 3/4 days? i don't know i lost track. it really gets to you after a while. for the first night, it almost helps me. i'm sort of manic and excited and ambitious to do EVERYTHING on my to-do list because it's like i've got 8 hours on everyone else to do whatever i want. and then after 30 hours i start to realize how tired i am and then i go up.. and up and then down.. and then i get so damn tired that, while revising a paper i just wrote, i have a hard time comprehending it because i get so damn slow....i think i'm hypomanic.

POLL: WHEN YOU DON'T SLEEP FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, DO YOU NOTICE ANY PROGRESS (WORKLOAD, CREATIVITY, EQUANIMITY, VIGOR, INSIGHT, ETC.)?

I never pulled an all-nighter during a school day. I did once during the weekend, but that was because I got a new video game. :D

I've never pulled an all-nighter, but I have a feeling I will when I take the SAT/ACT next school year.

I have never pulled an all nighter. I probably will have to next year..eeks!

I've pulled 3 all-nighters already, this month. They were all for schoolwork.

And yesterday, I got 4 hours of sleep. From 2-6. Oh, I guess that counts as this morning, then.

I'll just say thank god for coffee.

the only time i pull off all nighers is for gaming.

I refuse. Even if it means failing a paper, I will not stay up and try to finish it like the system's little b.itch. I will stay up no later than 11:00 doing homework.

This all-nighter crap is ridiculous.

Blairt.. TOTALLY understand where you're coming from as it's mostly the same for me.

I work better at night anyway, when the house is quiet.

I ususally get really interesting ideas while i'm sleep deprived, a lot of my art projects have resulted in not sleeping for 48 hours.

I like redbull.

Also, sometimes.. going to sleep is worse than pulling an all nighter because you feel 10x more tired that you would have had you just taken a shower at 6 am and gotten ready for school.

So maybe one every 3 weeks.

Yeah? Well, I don't go to bed like sleep's little b.itch!

Please, spare us the rebellion against the establishment nonsense.

And I'll apologize right now if that's your actual belief. I've seen enough people pretend nonconformity for the sole sake of calling themselves a rebel to not be annoyed over that phrase.

i usually try to get at least two hours of sleep each night.

I could never do that... about the latest I've done is 3.
College will be interesting...
