How many all-nighters do you pull per year?

Thats’ my favorite one. I can reread those books over and over again.

I’ve never pulled a straight all-nighter; the close I’ve come to doing that is a time where I got like 1.5 hours of sleep.

However, I will only get 3-4 hours of sleep like at least 10-20 times a year.

I’m debating if I should attempt to pull one tonight.

“Once, the night Harry Potter 7 came out. The one HP not worth reading, and it’s the one I stayed up all night reading. >:O”

Haha, I liked that one. And I stayed up until about 5 am reading that until I got scared (the light was flickering and it’s not the happiest book in the world. Plus all the suspense built up from years of waiting) even though the first day of band camp was that day and I was supposed to be there at like, 8 am. …I went to camp late…that evening. Only after I finished the book.

And I was up until the sun started rising this morning. At least I was doing homework and not mindless stuff, I guess.

none, but since finals are coming up, maybe a few :P

Just last Wednesday I had gotten better from being sick, and had tons of make-up work I left until the very last possible minute, so I pulled an all-nighter. It was stupid though, I had a horrible relapse by Thursday and had to miss Friday. And now I have more make-up work and am still feeling sick and am just starting on my homework. I’ll probably be up until around 4am today. Gah.

I pull around two or three a year. But I have stayed up until 5 or 6 many, many times, getting around 2 hours of sleep. I probably do that once or twice a week. Hence the bad health anyway… I guess.

Horrible, horrible time management, quite compulsive, flighty mind, and no sense of consequence all lead to this :P

I must pull like 100 a year, and half the school year I get less than 2.5 hours of sleep a night. Yes, I do have a sleeping problem. Lol, I’m hoping I can fix this little issue this semester.

^ Wow. Do you take naps?

I pulled two so far this year.

One before the first day of school. And the other before my AP Chem/Euro finals.

wow. I’m actually surprised by how many people pull all-nighters
Throughout my life, I’ve only once pulled an all nighter. For every other, I at least slept for about 2 hours.

Sleeping like 1~2 hours sucks though cuz you really don’t fall asleep and you wake up.

Sleeping like 3~4 hours actually isn’t bad for waking up. You can wake up pretty easily. You’ll just feel tired during the day

Sleeping 5~6 hours and waking up is a PAIN. You can’t wake up…

Sleeping 7~8 hours is optimal I guess

agreed on the 5-6 hour thing. but sometimes if you’re used enough to sleeping 2-3 hours once you hit 5-6 it isn’t a pain anymore. so some hope for the desperately energy burned? :)

@smileyy:

Nah, not often, unfortunately.

I most definitely am pulling one today. [AP Bio Unit Test - go figure].

You shouldn’t xx:/

You’ll be enabled to retain more information if you sleep.

I wasn’t planning on but people who took it said it was ridiculously hard and it is 70% of our grade. Either way, I have a field trip like right after the test, so I’m gonna catch some sleep on the way there lol
