I am a sophmore planning of junior year and I plan on taking these classes for junior and senior year:

Junior:
AP English Language and Composition
AP Statistics
AP Chemistry
Dual Enrollment US History
Honors Trig
Honors Spanish 4
Honors Physics

Senior:
AP Literature
AP Biology
AP Government
AP Calculus (idk if Ab or Bc)
Dual enrollment EMT
Honors Sports Medicine
Honors Spanish 5

I plan on going to UVA and I was wondering if this was enough or do I need more. I have not taking any APs yet and I have a 4.1 weighted GPA right now. A big question for me is should I take AP US or stick to DE on it for Junior year

How many APs is relative, as is GPA. This depends on how many are offered at your school. Your best bet is to ask your GC what previously successful candidates have done. On your GC rec you want to receive the designation of the most rigorous course selection.

What does dual enrollment mean? Is that at a local community college? Because if it is I would recommend taking AP instead. You are more likely to get college credit and in my opinion at least AP’s are much more rigorous than community college classes and I think most admissions officers understand that. As for the number of AP’s I had 13 and also had 3 more classes at Ursinus college (A mid level liberal arts school). I got accepted to UVA out of state with Echols scholar which is a pretty selective distinction so I probably had more AP’s than I needed just to get accepted there. I think that if you have good extra curriculars and good scores/grades you have a good chance at UVA
