<p>I'm applying to six schools myself. IMO it's always good to spread out your chances, even if you are confident that you'll make it to your school of choice.</p>

<p>Guys...good luck with more than 3-4 schools. Transfer applications are more time consuming in general than freshman applications and you'll def. be more stressed out with work during the time of year when transfer apps are due. I'm a transfer student myself and out of the fellow transfers I know, few applied to more than 3-4 schools. It's just not worth it.</p>

<p>I'm applying to UCs only. The only extra work I have to do is to list two more schools down.</p>

<p>I don't think I'm applying. I want to go to Georgetown or Wharton but my SAT scores are two damn low, so I'll be trying for BHP at UT Austin instead.</p>

<p>I'm wondering if there is anyone who puts UCB and UCLA as your safeties(means apply only these two schools or these two schools are at the bottom of your list)?
If there is, what's your major, your stats?
I guess my real question is: does it make sense to apply only UCB and UCLA?</p>

well it's not really super reach, but i consider it a decently reach school.</p>

<p>for me ucla is my safety if i get all A's this semestre. if not, then it's a reach.
my other safeties are any uc's close to the getty center.
it's fantastic when ur transferring in one year because the uc's only look at one semestre of grades. </p>

<p>i would apply to ucb if it had a transfer alliance program. but, it doesn't have any to my knowledge.</p>
