how many classes are online?

As a student at UF, on average, how many of my classes will be online?

if you choose so, none

thats great to hear :)

As of right now, I’m being forced to take calc 2 online for next semester since there is nothing else available. I don’t even understand how this class could be online.

you can choose whether you want or not want to take classes online but there are some that are mostly in online sections like statistics 1 for instance, though you can choose to go to live lecture. And if you have an upper level online course you want to take but you are completely against online classes it would most likely be a course you can substitute a live course for. I cant imagine a situation in which you truly MUST take a certain class online exclusively along the track of some major.

Although there is a growing trend where more sections of UF classes are becoming online. This is probably due to the recession/budget cuts/whatever and UF’s struggling ability to spend money.
