wow i think i'm going crazy looking at all these threads. how many is enough?!? ...and applications have like 7 blanks. what if you're only doing like 5 or 6 activities, and you spent lots of time on them....do u just don't put anything in the last blank..

Lol, I'm really going to have a pathetic answer: none.

In sports I get the feeling I'll never be captain, partially because sports aren't my best thing and my friend is on the same team as me and has been captain for two years. She's good at it, and I wouldn't be.

As for non-sports clubs I'm involved in, there's a lot of older kids there to be president. Although I might gain a "leadership" position on my school paper (editor in chief, I think they call it?). But...currently the answer is none.

i was the captain of the swim team and that was it (i got into duke)

that being said, it doesn't matter about how many clubs your are the president of. what matters is the amount of time and efforts you spend towards the club. college can tell what is application filler and what is a genuine interest or hobby.

so even 2 or 3 activities with extensive interest/time in them is great.

none, but have been chosen for editor-in-chief of school newspaper next year

Next year I'm gonna be Pres of Mu Alpha Theta. That's it though.

3 prezs ...

1 kinda .

I'm ed-in-chief next year too, and I'm starting a shakespeare club, so I'll be president of that too. I may start a debate team, and I may obtain the Model UN president nomination. Oh, and I'm thinking of running for NHS VP or maybe Prez.

:)

I'm the President of the 2:30 Bus Club.

lol, nice.

co-captain of forensics, treasurer of amnesty international, defense attorney of mock trial (all three of these clubs i co-founded), vice president of senior class. I'm everything BUT president, haha.

I am Chairman of The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Director of the National Security Agency, Head of the United States Secret Service, Commissioner of the NFL and MLB (omg I can't believe I didn't get the NBA, shoot me!), and lastly, leader of the Jabba Wockees.

I know my ec's suck. sorry V_V
