<p>In order to transfer to upenn, you need to complete the common application. They require you to write an essay, and in the supplement, you have to write one essay, one short answer, and TRULY optional autobiography. </p>
<p>So are we supposed to write 2 essays (1 for upenn supplement and the other for the Common application), a short answer question, and an autobiography if we feel like to?</p>

<p>From what I recall the Penn essay was Why UPenn? and the common app essay can be anything you want it to be. Yes, you’re supposed to write two different ones.</p>
<p>If you have it in you, I’d suggest you do the optional essay. Yeah it’s optional, but …</p>
