How many guys here also still sleep with bunnies?

I bought a stuffed bunny from Amazon a few months ago that I sleep with every night. I don't think I have any psychological problems or am homesick since this is my second year in college. How weird is this? Am I the only guy here that does this?

I knew of a couple of guys that slept with bears. My roommates and I all brought at least one from home and bought more throughout the semester that we named and would bring out.into the tv room with us when we watched movies. But we’re girls.

That’s pretty weird at this age. I don’t know any guy who does that. Do you have a reason you do it, like are you afraid the dark or something?

My boyfriend sleeps with a penguin.

It’s not weird. If you wanna do it, do it. Who cares what judgmental people think?

Awww I think it’s cute. I’m a girl though. I don’t sleep with animals anymore but I’m not opposed to sleeping with them. I think I only stopped because they kept falling off the bed or getting in my way.

Notice only girls are coming in here saying it’s okay. Keep that in mind.

I noticed that too.

I need to get a bunny.

I don’t sleep with anything. My girlfriend sleeps with the bear I got her called Snuggly that I bought specifically for Valentine’s Day since she missed me badly last year around that time.

Sometimes I have one of those “night lights” that works as an air freshner/light that are plugged into the wall because I hate not being able to see anything in the dark. It’s very dark in my apartment and I stubbed two of my toes (now missing the toenails) in the past two days trying to navigate through the dark to get to the light switch. -_-’

I sleep with a stuffed seal that I have had since I was a little kid. Oh, and I am guy.

It’s a little weird that you bought one recently. I understand taking a favorite stuffed animal from childhood to college, but buying a new one is a little out of the ordinary. But hey, whatever floats your boat. It’s not like anyone else has to know (unless you have a roommate).

It might be a little weird, but do whatever you want! You don’t need to worry about other people and what they think of you, and no one here can stop you anyway. Plus, no one’s really gonna see it except for maybe your roommate, or someone who might be hanging out in the room if you’re sleeping, if you’re worried about that anyway.

It’s not weird, just uncommon.

I slept with an Android doll in college because I had an obsession with working at Google…oh goodness.

People will think it a bit odd, and may laugh about you with their friends, but honestly in college people have better things to do than judge you for your minor quirks. Their reaction will be “haha you sleep with a stuffed bunny? That’s hilarious!” not “You have become uncool and we will no longer associate with you”.

I read an article once about a huge amount of men who actually own teddy bears. Apparently some hotel chain did a study and found that a certain percentage of all stuffed animals were from grown men. Don’t remember any more than that, but yeah. It’s not that weird.

I brought my baby blanket to college, though I don’t sleep with it. I’m a girl though…

I’m a 20 year old sophomore guy and I sleep with a stuffed animal that I bought 3 months ago.

But I made sure it was a more “masculine” animal; it’s a very large black&white Panda

Some questions may be in order

Does your bunny have a name?
Does he talk to you?
If so, has he asked why you’re not taking him to class?
If you are taking him to class, is he complaining about being stabbed by pencils and stifled in your knapsack with the apple cores and snickers wrappers?

^my roommate took get stuffed dog (or whatever the hell it was) to class on multiple occasions. She’d zip it in so half of his body would stick out of the bookbag so he could “breathe” during the day.
And the dog-thing was more of an overgrown rattle than a stuffed animal. You could hear her coming a mile away when she carried it with her because of all the noise it made. It was ridiculous.

I am not that crazy!

I’m a girl and I have a stuffed octopus that I got at the Boston Aquarium last year. Octopii are cool.
